ActionAid International want to work with you to design a template for mapping public policies and ActionAid and allies work that supports or hinders rural livelihoods and climate justice for young people and rural women across the globe. The mapping will be conducted at global, regional and national level.
The objective is to identify which policies are aiding or hindering right to food, food sovereignty and agroecology, women’s rights to land and natural resources and building climate resilience. The work will be used to support young people, rural women to influence public policy that strengthens rural livelihoods and climate justice.
As well as designing the mapping and assisting in gathering information, the successful candidate or organisation will be required to produce a clear, concise paper of key findings and implications for countries including opportunities for further engagement at local, national and global level and run a webinar for the platform and partners to best understand what has emerged.
You must have demonstrable expertise on women’s rights, geographic expertise in at least some project countries as well as experience in managing and coordinating evaluation/research exercises, including with or through country-based partners, delivering agreed outputs on time and on budget. Most importantly, you will be able to demonstrate understanding of and commitment to ethical issues in research/evaluations.
